Week of 12/24-12/30 Workouts!

12/27/07: 3 Mile Recovery Run on the Treadmill!
total running: 30 minutes
Heart-rate: n/a
Weather: cool
Notes: Tonight I felt achy and my knee was bothering me a little, so I opted for a short (and warm) 3 mile run inside on the treadmill. Not fun...but it was a needed!

12/28/07: 3 Slow Miles in the Neighborhood!
total running: 33 minutes
Heart-rate: n/a
Weather: cold.
Notes: My legs still felt heavy tonight so I just took it easy. Hopefully my legs feel better tomorrow!

12/29/07: 7 Miles of Yasso 800's!!!!!!!!
total running: about 1:40
ave Yasso (800m): 4:03 or so

Weather: cold.
Notes: Well...this is the 'benchmark' workout that is suppose to predict how you will run your upcoming marathon. Guess what I did? Yup, 4:03. Not quite a 4:00, but close enough. The weather couldn't have been more perfect today and i was thankful to have my fellow Striders by and with for support. Not a fun workout (the worst track workout we do, I think. And I love track!) but I did really well overall. The coffee afterwards made it worth it!
