11/01/05: SMARTie run—Kenyan Relays (my favorites!)

A great speed workout: a 200m dash at 5k pace with a short recovery while your partner runs the other 200m and then you do it again. I ran with Strider Lynnlee I believe. After 20 minutes of that in which I really pushed myself, I did a 15 minute cool-down with Strider Chip. We had a great time chatting until I got some killer side-cramping in the last 200m. Overall, it was a great workout, especially considering coming off of Sunday’s tough run and being tired from late-night Halloween festivities…
