9/8/05: SMARTie Possie on a Thursday Evening.
Although SMART schedule C (5x 800m) isn’t the easiest, it is certainly ‘appearing’ easier to me. (Or maybe it’s because I still have schedule D fresh in my mind (5x 1200m!)) Needless to say, I pushed though tonight’s workout and even mustered up enough energy to run 8 total miles for the night. Not bad, but my legs sure were dead after about 6.5 miles of running. I’m excited about getting back onto my schedule, and I am really trying to mentally prepare for my 10 mile run that is going to be next Sunday *nervous!*
The STATS:
8 miles
Mile1: 11:04 wu
Mile2: 10:37
Mile3: 10:34
Mile4: 10:41
Mile5: 9:12 (split into 4:45 and 4:37)
+3 miles of 800m at 5k pace
Heart-rate: 168 ave 187 high
Weather: getting cooler. Upper 80’s.
